FAQ

What if my Family Doctor has not signed up with SkriptMD?

You can easily link with another doctor of your choice on a temporary basis until your Family Doctor joins the App, ensuring that you continue to receive the care and support you need during this transition period.

Is there a fee to use SkriptMD?

You can open an account for free and try our service for 15 days to see if it works for you.

After 15 days, a $10 yearly subscription fee applies. Patients can easily cancel this fee in their profile.

The fee for an eConsult is priced at $10 when accompanied by a valid OHIP card. This eConsult fee conveniently covers any prescription that may be required to effectively treat the specific issue at hand.

Prescriptions alone cost $7 for the first medication, $3 for the second medication and $1 for each medication thereafter. For example, 4 medications on a single prescription will cost $12.

What if my Pharmacy is not listed on the SkriptMD App?

You can add any pharmacy in Canada to the pharmacy list as long as you provide a valid fax number for that particular pharmacy to ensure proper communication and processing of prescriptions.

You can Find a Pharmacy with their Fax number on the College of Pharmacists website of their respective Province.

For example, in Ontario you would visit: www.ocpinfo.com

Do I need a Provincial Health Insurance card such as OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan) to use SkriptMD?
